Meng Qinghe, Internet of vehicles R&D Senior Engineer of FAW Car Co., Ltd. (BESTUNE), Gu Jianmin, CTO of Valeo (China), Liu Jianhao, Director of 360 Connected Car Security BU, Wang Hongbin, Head of Technology Department of Harman, and Sun Yang, Director of New Travel Business, PATEO, attended the forum and made wonderful speeches. The World IoT Research Institute, IoT Innovation Alliance, World Green Design Organization, and China IoT Trade Association participated in co-organization. Ren Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of the WIOTC hosted the forum, and Zhao Lihui, Deputy Secretary-General of the WIOTC gave a welcome speech.
Ren Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of the WIOTC chaired the forum
Zhao Lihui, Deputy Secretary-General of the WIOTC, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organizing committee of the convention, saying that the IoT Intelligent Connected Vehicles is the inevitable development direction of traditional cars, making cars more intelligent. It is the most concerned focus of major car companies in terms of services. Internet of vehicles and traffic order, traffic rules and the resulting new economic market development are the directions that all sectors of society are paying close attention to.
Meng Qinghe, Senior Engineer of FAW Car Co., Ltd. (BESTUNE) Internet of Vehicles R&D made a sharing entitled "FAW Car (BESTUNE) is the Pioneer of IoT Cars". He believes that smart cars are moving towards the direction of intelligent networking. The application of 5G and the development of artificial intelligence have brought new vitality to the IoT technology, which has accelerated the rapid development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry. He introduced FAW Car (BESTUNE)'s intelligent networking strategy, including how to build automotive products with the attributes of the IoT and made an emphasis on the two aspects of intelligentization and the interlinking of things. He said that FAW Car (BESTUNE) is building a car-to-home interconnection system for users to realize the interconnection of home and car scenes. At the same time, the research and development of autonomous driving technology is also being continuously promoted.
Gu Jianmin, CTO of Valeo (China) shared the theme of "Valeo Smart and Connected Car Technologies for Enhanced User Experience". He said that today's cars have changed from simple transportation to a mobile terminal. Autonomous driving is accelerating, and the Internet of vehicles is a catalyst that will change the way we travel in the future. The Internet of vehicles will not only provide entertainment media system to give people a fun driving, but also making driving safer. He said that this is the first year of commercialization of 5G, and various technologies have been applied as a carrier through the 5G platform. Among them, the application of VR / AR technology will be greatly improved and helped, and more and more virtual scenes can be reflected in remote autonomous driving.
Liu Jianhao, Director of 360 Connected Car Security BU made a speech entitled "Connected Vehicle Cyber Security Solution from the Perspective of Attack and Defense". From the perspective of intelligent connected vehicle security from the perspective of attack and defense, he introduced the cloud security big data and artificial intelligence laboratory being built by 360. He believes that cloud security big data combined with artificial intelligence technology is a powerful way to solve the security of devices running on the road. He talked about the risks of information security after the car enters the era of intelligent networking, especially remote attacks by hackers and attacks by sensors in autonomous driving. He believes that in the 5G era, a secure edge computing terminal with analysis capabilities can be made, through which the results of decision analysis can be reported to the cloud, and then use cloud decision-making to achieve rapid response. He said that the security of the Internet of Vehicles must be solved with the capabilities of the ecology and supply chain, and eventually landed on the vehicle with the development cycle of the vehicles.
Wang Hongbin, Senior Manager of Harman Technology Department first introduced the four business groups of Harman, mainly focusing on the personal consumption, household and automotive fields. He believes that the field of internet of vehicles is not optional, but must be owned. Today, the number of ECUs in cars is increasing, which also reflects a future trend. He believes that OTA can meet the automotive market's improvement in eliminating network security vulnerabilities, bringing software brushes to factories, reducing the cost of recalls, meeting the needs of high precision maps and bringing benefits to automakers' OTA technology, and also increase the loyalty of automakers and users. He said that Harman has made corresponding product design to meet the evolution of the internal ECU's technical architecture.
Sun Yang, Director of New Travel Business of PATEO, shared from the perspective of user experience. He believes that the point at which companies do the IoT is to build a phenomenal user experience. He also explained the concept of Portable Internet of Vehicles, that is, the mobile phone and the car to achieve a deep interconnection, the mobile phone calculation force embedded in the car, the smart car put in the pocket, so as to achieve "pocket control", greatly reducing the cost of the car. He said that with the development of the Internet of Vehicles today, 5G and the IoT continue to innovate, and the vehicle-terminal interaction must also continue to innovate, allowing users to truly embrace the experience of high-quality Internet of Vehicle products and vehicles.
The “IoT vehicles” T33, T77 and T99 of FAW Car (BESTUNE) became the designated vehicles for this convention.
The forum ended with warm applause.
