Dear Government Agencies and Digital Economy Enterprises:

The World Internet of Things Convention, or WIOTC, is an IoT international convention organization that is innovative and nonprofit (a nongovernmental organization recognized by ECOSOC). The name of the organization is also the name of our leading annual convention with high-end and cutting-edge brand - WIOTC as a world-class IoT digital economy event. The United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres delivered speeches to the annual World Internet of Things Convention two times in a row (his speech was published on the UN official website). Government agencies and thinktanks from countries including China frequently collected news about WIOTC events.

In order to encourage the innovative development of interconnected digital economy, support the transition of traditional enterprises towards digital economy, promote the building of intelligently global market of digital economy, and help contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, WIOTC hereby establishes the World Digital Economy Ranking List (hereinafter referred to as "the Ranking List"), with its Organizing Committee and World IoT Ranking List Working Committee carrying out the work of selection and evaluation.

The World Digital Economy Ranking List is divided into three categories of "Leading Enterprise", "Competitive Enterprise" and "Potential Enterprise". The three categories center on the enterprises of digital economy, digital technology, digital platform, and digital construction, and the scope includes but not limited to the enterprises specialized in and covering the industrial chains of industry, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, auto intelligence, energy, e-commerce, AI, network and communication, logistics, healthcare, smart life, aerospace, culture, education, tourism, military equipment, cloud computing, big data, internet information, etc.

The enterprises on the Ranking List will become ecological partners of the organization, have the priority to become members of WIOTC’s global industrial commissions, suppliers of product and technology of "new type of IoT digital economy demonstration base", have the advantage to develop and use the "Advanced Model Architecture of Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy", can exhibit products, image or tech solutions on our online platform "IoT World Fair" and have the chance to win the World IoT Awards.

The Ranking List will be officially released and the certificates or trophies of the List will be awarded at the World IoT Top 500 Summit 2024. During the release and awarding ceremony, there will be tens of hundreds of media sources cover or collect news about the event. We welcome relevant agencies, organizations and digital and tech companies to apply for this authoritative ranking list.

1. The Basic Principle and Method of the Ranking

In the principle of openness, fairness and justice, this ranking will be carried out through self-recommendation of government agencies, international organizations, companies or in the online format.

2. Objects and Scope of the Ranking List

The companies from all over the world specialized in digital economy, digital technology, digital platform, and digital construction, and among others. It is included but not limited to the companies transitioning towards digital economy related to industry, agriculture, manufacturing, energy, transportation, internet of vehicles, ecommerce, AI, network and communication, logistics, healthcare, smart life, aerospace, culture, education, tourism, military equipment, cloud computing, big data, internet information, and along the industrial chains of these fields.

3. Procedures of Selection and Evaluation

Application→ Nomination→ Selection→ Announcement (solicit public opinions) → Final evaluation→ Final Announcement→ Certificates Awarding

4. Basic Requirements of the Ranking

1). LEADING ENTERPRISE shall be the digital technology and economy company with the annual digital economic output of over one billion US dollars and international influence.

2). COMPETITIVE ENTRPRISE shall be the digital technology and economy company with the annual digital economic output of more than 10 million US dollars.

3). POTENTIAL ENTERPRISE shall be the digital technology and economy company with the annual digital economic output of over one million US dollars and be strong in innovation, have the potential to develop or lead the industrial changes.

5. Other Items

The deadline of the ranking list shall be May 30, 2024
