Notice on the Establishment of "World Internet of Things Top 100 list"


World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC), which is the world's only IOT international organization and meeting brand, together with World Internet of Things Foundation and a number of IOT business organizations and institutions from multiple countries and regions, organizes the socially useful activity of the first "World Internet of Things Top 100 List". This activity aims to accelerate the establishment of global IOT and its industrial development, encourage enterprises to upgrade and innovate towards IOT, promote the development of smart industries such as IOT smart city, wisdom life and intelligent work, create a sustainable new economy of the world, benefit people of all countries and help the United Nations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030.

First of all, in order to promote the development of the world's new economy of IOT and encourage global enterprises to upgrade and innovate towards IOT, WIOTC will continue to organize the activity of "World Internet of Things Top 100", hope governments of all countries, IOT organizations, institutions, enterprises participate actively and give guidance and advice.

Secondly, based on the principle of openness, fairness and justice, the activity accepts guidance from the United Nations agencies and government agencies and supervision from various circles of society. Welcome global IOT enterprises, scientific research units, IOT platforms to participate.

Thirdly, the selection presidium for the "World Internet of Things Top 100" activity is constituted by the representatives from international organizations and the IOT business organizations, standards institutions, enterprises from China, the United States, Germany, France and other countries. The list of the presidium will be announced to the society.

Fourth, the "World Internet of Things Top 100" activity working group is set up, and the activity has IOT Century Convention and Exhibition Co., Ltd. as its designated host.

In order to accelerate the establishment of global IOT and its industrial development, encourage enterprises to upgrade and innovate towards IOT, promote the development of smart industries such as IOT smart city, wisdom life and intelligent work, create a sustainable new economy of the world, benefit people of all countries and help the United Nations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030, World Internet of Things Convention and multiple IOT organizations initiate to set up the activities of "World IOT Top 100 Enterprises List", "World IOT Top 100 Products List" and "the Most Potential Top 100 List".

i.Basic Principles and Pattern

Based on the principle of openness, fairness and justice, this activity is held through recommendation from industrial associations, organizations, enterprises and network.

ii.Shortlisted Objects

Enterprises and products (including solutions) concerning global IOT network development and construction, smart city system, sensor system, network transmission system, cloud computing, big data, storage system and intelligent terminal application system.

iii.Basic requirements

Ranking is based on the international IOT technology standard of "six domain model" and related factors of NB-IOT early standard, software and hardware enterprises and products concerning IOT sensor system, transmission system, big data, cloud computing, storage system and intelligent terminals, including:

. International leading enterprises and unites that engaged in the development and construction of IOT system, and technology development with wide application.

2. IOT products and solutions which are applicable, low cost and the output value of single product is above one million.

3. Series of products that are innovative and have demonstration effect, with the scale and output above ten million.

4. Enterprises and platforms that have IOT products and solutions, have certain social influence and are in line with the requirement of sustainable development; enterprises and platforms that have significant influence in promoting the IOT new economy with the most development potential.

iv.Selecting procedure

Nomination → primary selection → selection → public demonstration to seek social opinion → final review → published

v.Benefits of Finalists

1. Enterprises and products on the list have the opportunity to become suppliers of the world of Internet of Things demonstration base;

2. Shortlisted enterprises and products can get promoted in the World IOT Convention platforms to increase the brand awareness and influence;

3. World Internet of Things Convention platform can help the shortlisted enterprises, products and solutions to expand domestic and foreign markets.

vi.Others

This activity is the first time held and the deadline is August 10, 2017. Whoever fails to participate in the finalists, please pay attention to the next activity.
