On November 9, the 2019 World Internet of Things Convention Agriculture IoT Forum was held in Beijing. The intelligence of agriculture is the top priority in the IoT industrial system. This forum focuses on improving the efficiency of agriculture and making agricultural products healthier and safer. Vice Chairman of the World Internet of Things Convention, Luciën Tjon, attended the forum and delivered a speech. Qian Xiaoyu, Vice President of China National Forest Products Industry Association, Shen Jie, Founder of Celefish, Liang Binxian, Chairman of Taiwan Internet Of Thing Association, Li Wei, Chairman of Beijing Goke Agriculture Machinery Co., Ltd., Yu Ying, Vice President of Beijing Nongxin Internet Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Ma Ping, GUODIAN HI-TECH, provided systematic solutions and examples to illustrate the reliable system form of IoT smart agriculture.

The Vice Chairman of the World Internet of Things Convention, Luciën Tjon first gave a speech on behalf of the Convention. He introduced the extensive application of Dutch artificial intelligence in the agricultural field. At the same time, thanks to the intelligent and digital detection, the application of technology in the Netherlands can lead the world. He stressed that the transformation of traditional agriculture is imperative today, and the power of science and technology determines the future.

Qian Xiaoyu, Vice President of China National Forest Products Industry Association, elaborated on the wide application of the IoT in the forestry system from four aspects: status quo of forestry, smart forestry, smart home and enterprise development. She believes that the IoT will be involved from planting trees to the production of smart home and end with recycling, forming a closed loop of recycling. In the future, China's forestry will also apply IoT technology more widely.

In the speech, Shen Jie, founder of Celefish, shared his experience in applying the IoT in the fishery. He believes that the future development of agriculture must be toward cross-border integration and win-win cooperation, making full use of new technologies such as the IoT, artificial intelligence, big data and Blockchain, including the combination and integration of the financial and agricultural industry chains. Very imaginative new industries, new economies or models will emerge.

In his speech, Liang Binxian, Chairman of Taiwan Internet Of Thing Association, focused on the agricultural revolution triggered by the IoT and blockchain. He believes that the blockchain is to enable service-connected data to be opened, and each can have a credible foundation. He said that to realize smart agriculture and the digital economy, it needs data from the IoT and redefinition of the value of objects through blockchain. The IoT and blockchain can produce industry transformation and change some commercial values in the past. The agricultural ecology has undergone a huge revolution.

In the speech, Li Wei, Chairman of Beijing Goke Agriculture Machinery Co., Ltd., highlighted the implementation of IoT technology in animal husbandry. She said that data from 16 modules ranging from disinfection and epidemic prevention to slaughtering and processing can be connected in real time, which can achieve accurate feeding. It can not only provide data basis for the ranch management, but also can make intelligent decision-making and build a three-dimensional service system for the ranch.

Yu Ying, Vice President of Beijing Nongxin Internet Technology Group Co., Ltd., introduced the pig network platform for intelligent pig raising. She said that the pig network can help pig farms to remotely raise pigs and make intelligent decisions through a set of digital methods, so that pig raising can be warned throughout the process. She also believes that there are still many possibilities in the future of intelligent farming and animal husbandry.

Ma Ping from GUODIAN HI-TECH mentioned in her speech that the IoT era has come. Now, with the increasing number of Internet users, the number of IoT is developing rapidly. It is expected to reach a scale of US$11.1 trillion in 2025, but the scope that basic operators can cover is limited. In areas not covered by the basic operators, satellite IoT is needed to supplement it.

This is the fourth session of the World Internet of Things Convention. 13 forums have been held, including the IoT Cultural Tourism Forum, the Industrial IoT Forum, and the 5G IoT Forum, among which the Agriculture IoT Forum is an important part. Promoting the integration of 5G into all industries and helping the new development of the IoT. This forum has received a warm response.
