Dear government agencies, IoT enterprises, international organizations, and business associations:

Since its inception in 2017, the World Internet of Things Ranking List, known as WIOTRL, has become an authoritative IoT digital economy ranking event with global influence. The enterprises on the WIOTRL Top 500 account for 50 percent of global digital economy, playing a leading role in driving the innovative development of world economy and society. Have been released for eight years, WIOTRL has attracted attention from tens of thousands of enterprises from all over the world, and the news about the ranking has been covered and reposted by thousands of media worldwide and the international community as well. It is steering the innovative development of digital economy that is intelligently interconnected and moving the world economy from a traditional pattern to a fully and intelligently connected model.

In order to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, commend those companies capable of developing IoT digital economy, shape a batch of models of digital economy, deliver benefits to the people in the world in the field of smart life, work and production and support the building of a community of shared future for mankind, World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) and its WIOTRL Working Committee decide to initiate the work of the 2025 World Internet of Things Ranking List as of today and start the application and recommendation of the WIOTRL participating companies until June 30, 2025.

The target units for applying for the ranking list include but not limited to the following sectors: industry, agriculture, logistics, energy, AI, transportation, intelligently connected vehicles, aerospace, low-attitude intelligent industry, communication network (5G, 6G, quantum communication, starlink communication, cloud computing, big data, perception and integration technology), smart life, smart healthcare, safety and security, model services of various types, etc. The ranking list will be issued at the World IoT 500 Top Summit and WIOTRL’s top 500 enterprises will be awarded certificates (for companies applying for certificates only). Registered companies will become ecological partners of WIOTC, have the priority to be rated as model/demonstration enterprises of intelligently interconnected digital economy, and become members of WIOTC industrial commissions. At the same time, you can have the priority to develop and use “Architecture of advanced digital economy” which is intelligently interconnected, and, more importantly, having the chance to win the World IoT Awards (WIOTA) and display company’s product, technology and image on the online platform of IoT World Fair.

We welcome government agencies, social organizations, and IoT companies from all over the world to actively apply for the honor of outstanding IoT companies, compete for the WIOTRL Top 500, and appear on the 2025 World Internet of Things Ranking List.
