The World Internet of Things Convention 2025 and First Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy Slated for Late November
The Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy Development Strategy Forum was successfully held in Beijing, China, which serves as a prelude to the upcoming annual conference “World Internet of Things Convention 2025” and the “First Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy” taking place between 27 and 29, November 2025. Head of League of Arab States Beijing Mission and representatives of government agencies, embassies in China, international organizations, think tanks, academia, digital and technology companies from dozens of countries including China, USA, Indonesia and Azerbaijan attended and addressed the forum.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the concept of "Internet of Things" put forward by International Telecommunication Union (ITU) this year, World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) also witnesses the 10th anniversary of its establishment. The organization will convene the annual conference “World Internet of Things Convention 2025 and the First Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy” and launch a series of celebration activities.
In line with the spirits of Global Digital Cooperation and Sustainable Development Goals, the World Internet of Things Convention 2025 and First Conference on Sustainable Development of Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy, featuring “Intelligently Interconnected New Economy, Smart Society in the New Era”, will consist of opening ceremony, high-level meeting of future digital economy development strategy, ambassador forum, world new economic forum, international cooperation forum, and world IoT Top 500 summit, as well as special sessions for government and dozens of specialized parallel forums related to industrial IoT, manufacturing, intelligent vehicles, smart energy, AI, smart city and life, and standards, etc. Included in this event are celebration activities of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of World Internet of Things Convention as well. On top of that, we will hold various ceremonies to issue the Declaration on the Global Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy, release the Prize List of the Model Cities and Enterprises Developing the Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy, unveil the World Internet of Things Ranking List Top 500 and announce the list of World IoT Awards 2025, and so on. These awards will recognize cities and enterprises that have developed the global IoT digital economy in an innovative way, and reward organizations or individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the IoT- driven digital economy.
Topics like the transformation and upgrading of the global intelligently interconnected digital economy towards a more advanced stage, establishing benchmarks for innovative development of digital economy in various countries and providing rewarding guidance for governments and enterprises worldwide in terms of digital economy transformation and upgrading will be prominently featured in this annual convention. The conference seeks to strengthen global digital cooperation, jointly build a global intelligently interconnected digital economy society, support the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, and promote common economic and social progress and development for humanity.
